Delta Tau Delta
Delta Tau Delta, also known as Delt, is a fraternity with an impressive reach. The group was founded at Bethany College in Bethany, Virginia in 1858, but quickly grew. Delta Tau Delta now boasts 133 active chapters in the United States and more than 10,000 current collegiate members. The group also has 170,000 lifetime initiated members, many of which are active in alumni chapters.
For members of Delta Tau Delta, being a brother is a matter of pride. Those that can call themselves a Delt often advertise their affiliation through the use of Delta Tau Delta apparel or merchandise featuring the Delta Tau Delta letters. Even some famous Delt alumni have been spotted wearing the group's crest or letters as a subtle nod to the brotherhood that helped form them.
