The History of Phi Sigma Pi
Founded in 1916, Phi Sigma Pi is unique because it’s a gender-inclusive honor fraternity, meaning it accepts both men and women into its ranks. The fraternity maintains more than one hundred collegiate chapters, and several collegiate chapters. While it is not affiliated with the North American Interfraternity Conference, membership in the fraternity is open to students at four-year universities that have earned at least a 3.0 GPA.
When it comes to philanthropy, Phi Sigma Pi has adopted Teach for America as its official cause. Since 2007, the fraternity has donated more than $67,104.47 to Teach for America.
