Kappa Alpha Psi is a historically African American fraternity that was founded on January 5, 1911 at Indiana University Bloomington. While the group is listed as historically African American, it has never restricted membership on the basis of color, creed or national origin. To date, the group has inducted over 160,000 members across 721 undergraduate and alumni chapters throughout the world.
